Dufour 41 Classic – 2000 (delivered in 2002) – Comfortable and capable cruising sailboat.

The Dufour 41 Classic is a well known cruising sailboat appreciated for its excellent balance between sailing performance, onboard comfort and safety at sea. Built by the French shipyard Dufour, this model is particularly suited for Mediterranean cruising as well as longer offshore passages thanks to its stable and efficient hull design and spacious, secure cockpit.

This Dufour 41 Classic was built in 2000 and delivered in 2002. The boat is privately owned with VAT paid and has benefited from regular maintenance. The standing rigging was replaced in 2020, an important upgrade ensuring safety and reliability under sail.

The boat is powered by an inboard Volvo Penta engine producing 50 HP with a shaft drive transmission. Engine maintenance is up to date and the last service was carried out in 2025. Service invoices are available at the Monaco Marine shipyard in Port Gallice.

The sail plan includes a mainsail and genoa as well as a gennaker which improves downwind performance and light wind sailing capabilities. This configuration offers a very good balance between sailing efficiency and ease of handling.

Navigation electronics include a Furuno GPS chartplotter, a Raymarine ST60 autopilot, Raymarine ST60 wind instruments and a fixed VHF radio installed inside the cabin together with a handheld VHF. This equipment ensures safe and comfortable navigation for coastal cruising as well as longer passages.

The electrical system has been recently updated with two service batteries installed in 2024 and a separate starter battery. The boat is also equipped with a shore power battery charger allowing easy battery charging while in port.

The Dufour 41 Classic offers a spacious and warm interior typical of the Classic range from Dufour. The layout provides a comfortable saloon, a functional galley and comfortable cabins, making it an ideal sailboat for family cruising or longer stays on board.
